Our story runs deep.
In 1927, our family obtained its first license to produce wines, sparkling wines, and vermouth, marking the beginning of a journey that continues to this day. Today, the Bertolino brothers carry forward the legacy of previous generations with passion, producing high-quality Piedmontese wines just as they always have.
As early as the 1950s, our family was also producing Barolo and Barbaresco. Thanks to this historic production, we have retained the authorization to vinify and age Barolo in our winery in Nizza Monferrato, even after the 1980 amendment to the regulations, when production was definitively restricted to the official area of origin.
Today, strengthened by this rare authorization, we return to our roots. This Barolo is entirely vinified and aged in our winery, just as the generations before us once did.
The label itself is a tribute to that history:
an homage to the bottles of the past, when BERTOLINO was the name by which our family was known.
A return to tradition.
A gesture of continuity.
A story that continues, bottle after bottle.
