We are truly happy and grateful for the wonderful reviews that Paul Caputo, wine writer and contributor to Decanter, Forbes, and Vinorandum, has dedicated to our Nizza DOCG Riserva “Bauda” 2020 and Nizza DOCG Riserva 2021, awarding them 94 points and 93 points, respectively.

In his words, the 2020 Riserva “Bauda” is described as “smokier, more concentrated fruit on the nose, with wild herb and damson jam” — indicating a more concentrated and slightly smoky fruit profile with wild herb and damson jam — and “lots of power, density and complexity… put together with skill”, emphasizing the wine’s power, density, complexity, and craftsmanship.

Regarding the 2021 Riserva, he notes “plum, balsam, speck and clove” — plum, balsamic hints, speck, and clove — and observes that “despite its firm tannic grip and lingering acidity, this has a beautiful delicacy of fruit”, meaning that even with its firm tannins and lively acidity, the wine expresses a lovely delicacy of fruit.

Reading such an attentive and insightful interpretation of our work fills us with pride. Our heartfelt thanks to Paul Caputo for capturing the depth, character, and personality of our Nizza DOCG wines.
